Luis Majano

Lots of goodies lots of goodies. So where should we start? Should we start with BoxLang stuff or non BoxLang stuff or? What do you guys feel?
Eric Peterson
We gotta start with the BoxLang stuff. We're all about the BoxLang.
Daniel Garcia
BoxLang, BoxLang, BoxLang.
Luis Majano
Ugh.
Daniel Garcia
It was the top word of 2025 according to the Riverside in review.
Luis Majano
All right. Well, ⁓
Eric Peterson
Yeah, it was BoxLang
and then laughing and then, um, so, you know, we did pretty good. At least BoxLang beat out.
Daniel Garcia
⁓ BoxLang
Luis Majano
BoxLang
Yeah. Well, I think we can definitely talk about the 1.0 release. There was so much in that release, especially after feedback. And then we can move on to all the new kind of ecosystem things that we're building around it. What do you guys think?
Daniel Garcia
Sure. This is the 1.8 release. Is that what you're saying?
Luis Majano
Sure, I mean
there's just so much stuff in there and you know since it's the end of the year we can kind of wrap up of everything that we're doing you know and now we're working on 1.9 so we can give a sneak peek of what's going on in there but ⁓
Daniel Garcia
And to put it in perspective
really quick, 1.0 was officially launched in May. Is that correct? And we're at 1.8 right now and thinking about 1.9 already.
Luis Majano
Correct. That is correct.
Yes, so we have actually stuck to the release cycles that we promised at ITB. So we've been doing minor releases every month. We had one patch that we really need to get out there, but in all reality, we've really stuck to our guns here. And I think we've all gone to... I think this is a nice momentum that every month we're expecting.
you know, a release for BoxLang. And I think it's good because it's mostly based on feedback in all honesty. We've been migrating so many applications now already to BoxLang and a lot of clients already on board with it. And so I think that every kind of month it's a goodie, right? So, so that's been really, really nice for the whole team to have expectations that every month you're going to get a big release, right?
obviously if there's any type of security issues or anything of that nature it comes out immediately right but I think that's to answer your question.
Daniel Garcia
Sure.
Okay, so with 1.8 was released in earlier December, I believe, correct?
Luis Majano
Yes, so we've been targeting either the last week of the month or the first week of the next month to get these releases out. So this one was December 5th, 1.7 was November 5th. So 1.9 might be January 5th or it might be the week before December, depends. But 1.8 was December 5th. I can definitely attest that this probably was bigger than all of the releases before, mostly because of client
Daniel Garcia
Okay.
Luis Majano
feedback. So we're doing a migration for a client that I can't name yet, but we've been working with them and basically moving all through their Adobe applications and massive, massive source ⁓ sets. I don't know how many millions of lines of source code, but obviously we've had to fine tune everything. So I would say that there's several major highlights. So we'll start with one because I know
Maybe even you guys will have questions on it. We've been trying to do this for a while, but our Java kung fu was not there yet. It was basically to partition the core runtime and remove some of the compilers out of the source. What that means is that when we started the project, we basically wanted to create Java source from BoxLang source or CFML source and then compile that.
That was kind an interim approach that we did when we started the project. And we really did that because we really wanted to profile the Java source code that we were creating. We're still getting very familiar with bytecode. And there was actually some even clients that had requested for them to go from BoxLang slash ColdFusion source to Java. They actually wanted the Java source. Yes. And to note that in our Java conferences, they've actually told us the inverse.
Daniel Garcia
Really?
Luis Majano
They actually want Java source to be transpiled to BoxLang source, which is kind of crazy, but we have seen that request. So that might even come in next year. But anyways, what that means is that we basically created an interface for our compilers, right? So Brad basically took on the job of doing that and he created an interface for what we lovingly call the Boxpiler.
Daniel Garcia
⁓
Luis Majano
We basically have created actually three compilers now. We have the ASM compiler, which basically takes your source code and compiles it directly to bytecode. That's using ASM. That is part of Java. It's in order to do a huge framework for compiling into bytecode. The second one is the Java parser. This uses the Java parser project and basically turns your source code into Java source code.
and then basically compiles it. And then the third one that we've created is an all no-op compiler. And basically, I don't know how we call that a compiler because it actually doesn't compile, right? But basically, it's a no-op compiler and we are basically opening the doors here for multiple compilers to be available to BoxLang. So this can mean many things. It could be WebAssembly compilers. It could mean maybe tapping into the truffle framework.
that GrowlVM offers. This really sets the ground rules, I would say, for us to really even move forward ⁓ into the Java space with all kinds of compilers that we could target even different machines. This was a huge step for us in our vision of BoxLang as a modern language. Now, the benefits of this is, first of all, the entire runtime actually is smaller.
Well, instead of actually doing a release where the release makes the release bigger, we actually cut the release by 22%. So now the BoxLang runtime is basically 7 megabytes. So we reduced it by 22%. We reduced the memory footprint, faster startup times, and of course, improved security surface because we're not including a bunch of dependencies that we needed in those compilers.
So that's a big deal, for example, architectural-wise. And now you also have those compilers available to you as modules. So we've actually released the traditional ⁓ NoUp compiler, which is a new version of BoxLang, BoxLang NoUp. And this one is important because it's basically a NoUp compiler. This means that for security purposes, it is really nice because you can compile your entire BoxLang source code, deploy it, and there is no compiler.
So that means that even if you get an attack vector and somebody's trying to actually put in some source code and execute it, they can't because the code will not compile. There is no compiler. So this is something that we're targeting for our enterprise customers that we can basically ⁓ create a pipeline for them where they can compile their source code, deploy using the BoxLang on no-op runtime, maximum security, eliminates all type of runtime code injection vectors.
Daniel Garcia
Hmm.
Luis Majano
Compliance-regulated for some industries as well. It obviously reduces the attack surface, right? And it's basically what we're calling immutable deployments, right? So now you basically have a pure artifact that you can deploy. It'll execute and run, but there is no ability for somebody to compile because there is no ASM compiler here, okay? Or Java parser or anything, right? So this is a big one. Go for it.
Daniel Garcia
Well, let me ask you this, Luis.
Will
it, will it protect us from writing bad code?
Luis Majano
No. So, no. You can still do dumb stuff. So, no, we haven't figured that one yet, but when we do, I'll let you know. That will make us rich, for sure. But anyway, so you have the compilers now available to you. The Java compiler is also available as a module, VX compiler Java. And our idea is basically these compilers are actually going to be in Maven as well.
Daniel Garcia
Not yet. ⁓
Because that'd be really cool.
Luis Majano
So you can basically use MSU C fit. So imagine if you have a request where you actually, it needs to be a Java source code, no problem. You can work on BoxLang, use the Java compiler and it will produce Java. So this is really opening a big door for us in the enterprise space. And with the theory that we really wanted to create very targeted compilation units for different systems.
So this was our first step. It's a huge win. has taken months to get to this place here. So big kudos to Brad on creating the interfaces for the BoxPiler. And basically this is one of the, I would say the biggest pieces for 1.8.
Daniel Garcia
Nice. Can you sneak peek what 1.9 might contain or is that you want to keep that as a surprise for later?
Luis Majano
I think 1.9 just continues with whatever customers are coming to us. there's really not, I would say there's a few things that we're going to be targeting us together with our first retreat of the year next month. And we can talk about that. There's no secret on that one. But I think for 1.9, it's mostly still continue to service customers, moving to the platform, making sure things are running smooth, fast. Not a lot of new stuff that I'm thinking right now.
Daniel Garcia
Okay.
Luis Majano
except basically getting everything ready for more patches and production readiness.
Daniel Garcia
I know when I saw the 1.8, one of my biggest things to be excited about was the performance improvements and all the things that we've been talking about for a while. And Eric, what about you? What's kind of got you like 1.8, this is awesome, or than what we've had before?
Eric Peterson
Well, I mean, at the risk of repeating everything Luis said, like I think the no op compiler is just really neat. Like how many attack vectors and vulnerabilities have to be patched and you're worried about your server in that regard. And now we have a way to be like, Hey, you know, upload all the BoxLang code you want. It's not going to do anything. So I think that's really neat. And as for speed, I would, I bet.
Daniel Garcia
Hahaha
Luis Majano
Hahaha
Daniel Garcia
Hahaha
Eric Peterson
Well, I don't know if Luis will have the numbers. Somebody can get the numbers at Ortus. But the speed improvement from 1 to 1.0 to 1.8 is just astronomical. like hats off to the teams working on that.
Daniel Garcia
sure Brad's got them.
Luis Majano
Yeah, astronomical.
Yeah,
I think that this was to be expected. mean, we definitely wanted to work on optimizations when there was time, right? We didn't want to pre-optimize if we didn't need to. The platform was so in flux at the beginning. Obviously, you you have to deal with the decisions that you make before that. So I think that it has been incrementally increasing, increasing, increa...(truncated for brevity, but the format continues similarly throughout the entire transcript)

Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas!
Daniel Garcia
Luis Navidad. What I say and give a big shout out to the people in the chat. Thank you for tuning in as always. And this is the year end episode guys. We made it. Well, almost made it through another year.
Luis Majano
Almost,
almost made it.
Daniel Garcia
I know it's been such an exciting thing. Lots of things going on. We got lots to talk about. I know Luis, you've got a couple of things you're gonna talk about as well. Little surprises. Maybe. I think you leaked them already in the Slack channels, but that's okay. Let's get going.
Luis Majano
Maybe, maybe.
It's too exciting. It's
Eric Peterson
He can't help himself.
Daniel Garcia
I know, just
Luis Majano
true. It's true.
Daniel Garcia
like Santa Claus.
Eric Peterson
You heard
it here second.
Luis Majano
I wanted to give like a Christmas pre-early gift, you know?
Daniel Garcia
Sssss
I guess. Well, kick us off Luis. What cool and exciting things have you been doing instead of sleeping?
Luis Majano
I do?
So I think that it has been incrementally increasing, increasing, increasing. And right now, I mean, even in compatibility mode, we're faster than our competitors by a very big margin.
So we're talking 14 to 24 times faster in terms of compilation units than Adobe and two point something, three point something than Lucee. So our compilation approach is extremely fast and is extremely fast. Runtime, that all depends on code. It really is not a very good litmus test, I would say. We can profile ColdBox if you want in terms of runtime.
But Dupin and Lucee are not slow either. We've been using them for years and it's not like they're incredibly slow for runtime. So in terms of runtime speed and performance, it really all depends on what you're doing. There's not one thing that's faster than the other, but obviously there's some areas where we've done above and beyond. For example, query of queries, that's sometimes in the order of 100 times faster of magnitude. So Brad has gone crazy with query of queries.
it is extremely performant. I know that, for example, in the CFML days, I did not even want to use query of queries because it was so slow. But now it is just lightning fast. mean, it's ridiculously fast, let's put it this way. So there are things that are incredibly fast. HTTP, so that's something that I know it's dear to Eric's heart. So the new HTTP framework on 1.8 is also
Daniel Garcia
Sure.
Ahem.
Luis Majano
very orders of magnitude extremely fast because we do a lot of caching here. So we also ⁓ actually cache the HTTP connections in this version. So we don't have to be opening and disclosing TCP IP connections, right? We actually maintain connection pools through the Java HTTP clients and we manage them in our new HTTP service. So in 1.8, we introduced a new service to the framework, which is called the HTTP service.
and it basically manages all of these HTTP connectors. And that has been a huge deal in terms of performance for anything that goes out of your applications via HTTP. So the HTTP, I would say features in 1.8 are crazy. Basically everything that Hyper did. So I know Eric got huge inspiration from that. And it was like, need a fluent approach to HTTP. And that's what
It's there, right? And it has all kinds of goodness in it from the ability to actually finally now in CFML, right? You could not do streaming. So HTTP streaming was impossible unless you actually went down into the Java course and actually did some type of HTTP streaming. Server-side events, not possible in the current approaches of CFML. That is not possible. And now with BoxLang, you can. So you have the ability to...
Daniel Garcia
this.
Luis Majano
consume server-side events, you have the ability to create server-side events, and you have the ability to actually stream from any website using our new on-chunk protocols. So this is something that's huge, especially for the day and age that we live, which is the age of AI, where every LLM basically can stream content, right? Every MCP server can stream content. Well, now you can.
Daniel Garcia
Nice. So I'm going to attempt to TLDR this, because know Eric and my boss probably doesn't want to spending all day talking about this, even though we could. 1.8, it's best ever. More is coming. There's no reason not to start using BoxLang today. So there it is.
Luis Majano
No.
Daniel Garcia
Moving on. Cause I want to hear this other stuff too. You've got two other pieces of news, right?
Luis Majano
Sure,
sure, we got him.
Eric Peterson
At least one we
know of.
Daniel Garcia
You got him. Tell us everyone's waiting. I'm waiting.
Luis Majano
Sure. All right. So
the first one is a revival. It's a revival. So we haven't touched this library in a while and it's DocBox. So DocBox is something that is very dear to my heart. It's actually a project that I helped in its infancy with Mr. Mark Mandel a long, time ago. And it was basically the theory of documentation, right? Obviously I'm very passionate about documentation. And ⁓ the idea was to bring some type of automated approach
to create API docs, right? And that's what DocBox is, right? It used to be called ColdDoc a long, time ago. So I took over the project a long time ago from Mark and basically became DocBox. So it's been kind of dormant for a long time and I basically resurrected it this past few weeks, mostly because I'm working on the next project, which is AI, right?
Daniel Garcia
Hmm.
Luis Majano
so our new AI libraries. So I wanted to make sure that everything was extremely well documented and basically ended up rewriting the whole library. So now we have new themes, actually. So you now have the ability to create themes for your documentation. I created a new one, which is basically based on Alpine. So it's like a single Patreon app, basically experience. You can go to it now. Actually, if you go to api.docs.orgsolutions.com slash docbox and search for version five.
Daniel Garcia
because
Luis Majano
You see the live docs there. I don't know if I can put links here. Can I put links here in the chat?
Daniel Garcia
⁓ You can
paste it into the Google chat.
if you want to try.
Luis Majano
public
chat. Here we go. Let's try the public chat. Let's see if it works.
Daniel Garcia
try that actually. Eric
and I were talking earlier if we could.
Eric Peterson
Alright,
I can throw a screen share up here. We're share this for those watching.
Daniel Garcia
We have the technology.
Luis Majano
cool.
I didn't know you could do that. Cool.
Eric Peterson
If, well, it will be cool if, what's it called? Chrome and Mac get along.
Daniel Garcia
Did the public chat work?
Luis Majano
Here, I'll put the link here.
Daniel Garcia
you know, as
an aside, I finally got a Mac Eric and not a fan, but you and I could talk about that offline.
Luis Majano
⁓ that sounds like a contentious conversation. Exactly. Good answer.
Eric Peterson
I don't care what you do.
Daniel Garcia
They say that
Mac make things easy. No, they don't Absolutely does not. bah humbug.
Luis Majano
⁓ we can get into that conversation.
Eric Peterson
You
Luis Majano
But anyways, this is the
new look. You can still produce frames, the old traditional frames, but they have also been updated. But this is the new single Patreon approach. This is using basically ⁓ Alpine and it now basically documents interfaces. There was something that it was introduced ⁓ after the release of this version. also actually pigeonholes methods. if you actually go ⁓ Eric, go to the root
DocBox package and click on DocBox and you'll see now obviously you see that this is pure documentation that's inside of my components or my classes, right? It actually creates the beautiful docs there. It has an inheritance hierarchy if there is one. Class annotations, properties with their annotations as well. ⁓
Eric Peterson
Hehe.
Daniel Garcia
Now
to people watching, if you want to use DocBox, you're literally just annotating your files and it's building this automatically, correct?
Luis Majano
That's correct. So this is available for anybody that wants to produce docs out of their APIs, right? Obviously, you can create them as very extensively or simply, right? It'll mark the constructor as well for you. I've done several examples here as part of annotating my code. The methods one is a really interesting one. So if you go scroll down a little bit farther down.
You'll see that now the methods are arranged by type. So you have all methods, you public methods, remote, private, static, and if you had abstract ones, they will show up here. You also have a method search right there, so you can search for methods. ⁓ If you wanted to search for path, for example, there, you could search for path, and it will search for anything that has the word path in the function, if there is one, or just say strategy. That's a good one to show up, strategy. Okay, so...
It basically gives you a much better experience ⁓ with documentation. ⁓ You also have a global search. So now if Eric says, to the global search and types, not that one, that's a package search, but in the top one, search XML or XMI, then you can basically search for classes or interfaces. So it's now been updated to make sure that abstracts are there, static classes are there, all the new functionality that we have available in BoxLang.
and some of the CFML engines is there. So this is the new look. This is what we call the default. And it also has light mode, Eric. You can click the little light bulb on the top right. Yeah.
Daniel Garcia
hey, ooh, it's blinding me.
Eric Peterson
that's better.
Daniel Garcia
It's too bright.
Luis Majano
So anyways, like I said, this is also completely themeable so you can create your own themes now for your documentation if you wanted to. And we still got to do a little bit more docs there, but that's updated. If you go to docbox.ortusbooks.com, that's a work in progress as well. So everything will be documented as well.
Daniel Garcia
So.
Nice, nice.
Luis Majano
another sneak feature that I snuck into the DocBox one is that it doesn't require a web server anymore. So we have a new version called BX DocBox. So now we have a new product that's called BX slash BX dash DocBox. So it's a native BoxLang module. You basically just install it into the runtime and you're going to have the capabilities.
Eric Peterson
Nice.
Daniel Garcia
Hmm.
Luis Majano
to actually execute this at the CLI. So all that is documented. If you go to the docs, you'll see BoxLang CLI tool. So basically, DocBox has become a pure CLI tool now as well. So no web server needed. It'll basically go through your objects and document them, has a nice little CLI. You can say, BoxLang module DocBox help, and it will show you everything that you can do with it.
Daniel Garcia
Interesting. I wonder how long until Jacob's got that integrated into the VS code extension. ⁓ man, nice. Okay.
Luis Majano
⁓ yeah, it's coming, it's coming.
Yeah, so, don't
be busy.
Eric Peterson
Just a little bit.
Daniel Garcia
Now that we've gone done eating our vegetables, tell us about the main entree, the steak, the sizzle.
Luis Majano
Sure. Here, me since
Eric showed me that you can share. Can I share my screen?
Daniel Garcia
Eric share
Luis Majano
Let's see if we can share
Eric Peterson
Yeah.
Luis Majano
a little
bit for those folks coming in here.
Eric Peterson
oversharers some say.
Luis Majano
Alright, so BoxLang AI. So we released this first version of AI before Into The Box this year, believe it or not. So our first version of BoxLang AI, it was actually part of the keynote where Ray Camden produced a very smart cat that was ⁓ based on BoxLang AI, right? So that was our first iteration.
Daniel Garcia
Yeah.
Actually,
you had that at Dev Nexus this year. I think you wrote it at Dev Nexus this year.
Luis Majano
Actually, you are correct, Daniel. We were basically seeing so many things about DevNexus in February, if you remember, and we got really mad and we were like, okay, why don't we have this? And by the end of the conference, we had our first version. Yeah.
Daniel Garcia
you're writing it and I was getting you coffee. Perfect. We're a great team.
Luis Majano
Exactly.
This is a great team, But this has gone a long way. So I've been really, getting into AI since that conference, Daniel, and your beautiful coffee serving skills. And there was still so much that we really needed to do to be a player, let's put it this way. I think that when we did our first version, it was a nice proof of concept. It was something to start with. But I think now we're ready to play ball.
And we've done a lot of capabilities not only to basically match ⁓ other languages and other libraries like LangChain or Spring AI, but really above and beyond. So this is ⁓ BoxLang AI and we've basically done a ton of stuff. Okay. We've been having to give you now the capability to do flexible messaging, multimodality agents. So now you can actually create agents. I can show you a little bit of that.
You can actually obviously do multi-provider. That was something that we really wanted to do when we started this project. We also wanted great fluent interfaces, document loaders. I ended up building over 12 document loaders where you can actually load different vector databases. I've actually created the introduction of many vector memories for you to work with, including the new BoxLang memory. So I created one that you can use for runtime and mocking.
and in order for you to do augmented generation, which is usually referred to as RAG, everything's configurable, but most importantly, everything is event driven. And this is something that pretty much none of them have. So you can actually listen to any type of AI event. And this opens the door for our next phase that we're talking about for BoxLang 1.9 and beyond is basically observability. And there's a lot of observability patterns that we're going to be adapting here.
so folks can actually see what their AI agents are doing, what type of ⁓ inputs they're getting, outputs they're getting, being able to actually ⁓ introspect into that and actually sanitize things, etc. So lots of stuff. So when we introduced this, we introduced the capability to do chats, which is just kind of simple chats. We really wanted to do something very simple for users. So you can basically just say, hey, AI chat, how amazing is BoxLang? And you get an answer. It was very, very simple.
This is something that simplicity is still there. But we've now grown. So you have all these providers that we can talk to and more if somebody requests them. We have a ⁓ complete guide on actually how to create custom providers. ⁓ Here's a lot of stuff coming in. ⁓ Major features, structured output. So now you can basically tell any LLM that, hey, I want you to respond with this data and this and whatever and...
BoxLang AI can map that to native BoxLang classes. So think about this like the Mementifier, right? The word the Mementifier basically was allowing you to produce a state out of an object. This is the inverse. This is population. So this is basically AI population. And actually there's a new BIF called AI Populate. So now in BoxLang AI, you have a new BIF that you can say AI Populate, and it will populate from the LLM your classes, right? So this is really important for structure output, right?
You can get XML out of the ⁓ LLMs, can get JSON, can get structs now, native arrays, and of course, native BoxLang classes. That's important. We've created that bridge so you can work with normal traditional classes. We've introduced also AI agents, and we're introducing autonomous agents in this version, which is coming soon thanks to the BoxLang schedulers. You can actually create an agent, give it system instructions, it with some type of memory or vector database,
and say schedule it and then basically we'll run in the background and it'll basically start producing everything that you need as an autonomous agent. This actually doesn't even exist on other SDKs. Like I mentioned, all the document loaders that we've created, vector memory compositions and tooling, of course. You can see here all the provider support matrix that we've done. Everything is tested. So that's something that's very cool that you can see all the automated tests for this. And this is just an introduction. You can see here, for example,
⁓ Structured output I can say basically here I want to chat extract the person information for John Doe H30 John example and pass in a new person and then it will take that object and it will Populate it for you with everything that comes from the AI that can match right so it'll build that bridge for you You can do it with a struct you can do it within class or you can even do it with a race. Okay, so You have a lot of these options available to you. You can even do multiple schemas
So you can say, want you to basically, here's a chat, extract the person and a company from this database and build me this new person and this new company object. And it will be smart enough to match all the data coming from the LLMs. And of course, like I mentioned, you have a new, go ahead.
Daniel Garcia
Does that.
I was, was, yes. ⁓ how long does that persist? If you've got the chat going with them and they're building out the profile, will that persist day over day or that be a
Luis Majano
Oh, AI memory is configurable is really up to you. So you have all kinds of different memories, memories that live short lived, memories that are session based, memories that are database based, memories that are CouchBase based, the Redis based. You can go crazy here. So it all really will depend on you. And of course, if you do want to manual population, you can still do AI populate. And basically like our population tools and callbacks.
Daniel Garcia
Nice.
Luis Majano
Memory systems like I said tons of memory systems. You have the ability to do window memory So, you know keep the last messages in memory you can do summaries. So basically you can basically have auto summaries of your old messages and compaction session based memories If you're in a web file based cache based or JDBC You have the ability to talk to all of these vector memories. So BoxVector is the one that I created So basically it's an in memory vector store that you can use
⁓ Hybrid, which basically means that it can use one of the standard memories in combination with the vector memory. So this is another approach that we've done differently than other SDKs, is that you can actually mix and match memories when you build your agents. You can add more than one. So you can add four types of memories to an agent. You can add a short-term memory, you can add a vector memory, you can add a long-term memory, et cetera, et cetera. So you can basically configure your AI agents with all types of memories as well.
It's very easy. As you can see here, you can say, AI memory. Here's my window memory with a specific key, and you have ⁓ multi-tenant capabilities as well in BoxLang AI. You can seed it with a user ID and even a conversation ID. Give it some type of configurations, and then I can create an AI agent here. My name is Assistant, and here's my memory. Then I can basically start running things inside of that agent. You have all these capabilities that you can do before.
And of course you can do document loading. I love diagrams and now I've learned how to do all these diagrams. So all the docs are littered with all these diagrams. But you have all this ability now to load content into your vector stores and this is important because this is basically how you're going to teach your models. The LLMs are taught by somebody else. If you can create your own LLM and we allow you to do that via Ollama you can actually seed it and teach it.
with basically all kinds of capabilities of loaders. You can do text loader, Markdown loader, CSV loaders, JSON, XML, PDF, logs, HTTP, feeds, SQL, directories, and even a web crawler. That was actually a very difficult one to do, but I'm pretty happy how it turned out. But it's very easy. You have a single bit called AI documents, and basically we'll build an array of those documents that you seed it with, and then those you can send it to a memory.
Right? So that's something very, very easy that we've allowed you to do is basically here ingest all of these documents into a specific memory. So all of these capabilities are now available here. We even ship an Ollama Docker service ready for production for you. And actually we're going to be running this for our stuff as well. It's pretty soon here. So we're going to have our own Ollama server that we're going to be able to teach and work with. ⁓ So all kinds of stuff. This is an overview, all the new
Global functions that are available to you from a BoxLang AI Two so the ability to do chats build an AI agent Asynchronously chat as well build a native AI chats requests a native AI chat stream You have the capability to do chunks and this is important that most of the LLMs are not infinite You need to be able to send things in chunks the AI documents as well the ability to embed do embeddings memories messaging population models
services, tools, transformations, really really cool your own MCP servers. So now with this version of BoxLang, you have two capabilities for MCP. And the best way is I can show you here because everything is fully documented. If we go to our new docs, you'll see there's a lot of work that I put in in documentation for this. So this is kind of the overview of all the docs.
Daniel Garcia
Hmm.
Luis Majano
and the table of contents, but if we can go here to some of the advanced topics, you have the ability to do MCP clients and MCP servers. So MCP clients is something important and it's basically a consumer. So basically you have your application code like in BoxLang and you can talk to any MCP client on any protocol and basically get information. So all of our BoxLang docs, for example, or basically all of our Ortus' books,
is based on an MCP server. So I can connect to all of them. So here we introduce a new BIF called MCP. And with an MCP, you give it a path of where that MCP server is. And this could be an HTTP protocol or a standard IOP path, which is basically an IP address and a port. And then you send requests to it. So here I send a request to a specific tool in the MCP server named search docs. Here's my query and here's my limit. And then I get back a result.
So similar to the HTTP and the SOAP approaches, same deal. You can do timeouts, you can do headers, you can do token authentications, right? You can do fluent callbacks. So you can say, here's an MCP and if there's success, do this, or if it's on error, do that. Or you can do fluent chaining. So you can say, connect to this MCP server with a timeout with this bearer token, with these headers, and on success and on error. You also have discovery methods. So I can say, hey, I want to connect to Eric's
MCP server give me all the tools that Eric has built for me, right? And this is going to be important because now we're going to be able to build this all in the IDE So the IDE BoxLang IDE will now be able to consume MCP servers and we're going to be able to list you all the tools that you're going to have at your disposition, right? So all of these and they are there and we didn't stop there. We didn't just do normal tooling We also have resources so you can actually create resources and list resources from MCP servers and
prompts, so you can do shareable prompts across MCP, and all these capabilities. So all this MCP client, per se, is available to you right now to start integrating with any MCP server. So that was very, important in the day and age that we live in. The next part of the puzzle was the MCP server. And this is basically also available to you. So as developers, now what you can do in the MCP architecture, you see how these diagrams, lovely mermaid diagrams.
by the way, ⁓ is that now you can create your own MSCP server and you can have your own tool registry, resources and props. So this is your own app. And then you can even create them as HTTP or standard IO and then basically give this to any client. And how easy it is? Well, by convention, well, let me go through all these standard types, but by convention, you have a URL, if you enable it called little squiggly BXAI MCP.bxm.
And that basically will expose by convention any server that you have created in your application. ⁓ And this means that you can create multiple servers. You only have one. And you name them, of course. So here is one, which is the default server. And here is a server called My App, or by using URL pathing, you can just do a slash. And then it's the traditional protocol of the communication. ⁓ Now, how do you create your own if you actually wanted to expose
your own slash eric MCP URL? Well, you just import the MCP request processor and say, hey, start the HTTP processor here. And that's it. Two lines of code and you'll really roll with your own MCP server on your own URL. And we also allow you to do all kinds of things with your own MCP server. Course support is available for you. Body size limits. So tons of guardrails to protect yourself. API key authentication.
HTTP basic auth, security headers, server-side event streaming, ⁓ and discovery endpoints. You also have standard IO. So if you want to run this on an actual ⁓ non-web accessible, you can run it ⁓ as a pure port if you wanted to. Same deal. This is how it would look like. And then we've also given you the ability to do it ⁓ with BoxLang as a CLI. So you can create a BXS or a BoxLang script, and you can say BoxLang MCP.
you know, standard IO, boom. And you can start the default server or you can start a normal server, right? So benefits and things that you have to choose on depending on how you're doing. Imagine you can run your own standard IO MCP server in your own machine to do whatever you want it to, and not expose it. So you choose your own protocol and then you basically start registering tools. So imagine on an application start, you say MCP server, my app, that's it. That basically creates your MCP server.
You set a description, a version, and then you start registering stuff. Here's our registration of two tools that I've registered that are now going to be available. And now that endpoint is available through by convention. And then basically you start interacting with it. So extremely easy for developers to create their own MCP servers. And here's the reality for me. We're going to be creating this for every app that we build, I believe. ⁓ And the next step is to create this also as a ColdBox module.
So you can actually define your MCP servers inside of your ColdBox configuration, and it will basically use this approach to generate all those MCP servers for you within ColdBox. And since ColdBox is a hierarchical MVC framework, every module can also have the ability to basically register MCP servers as well. So that is coming as well in the next version of ColdBox. So we can go on and on and on about MCP, but...
Daniel Garcia
Well, it's funny, every time I hear MCP, I always think of the old Tron Master Control Program, which makes me wonder if you're giving it high access into your app, how do you lock that down and make it more secure so it doesn't go nuts?
Luis Majano
Yeah, exactly. You're going to have to register those tools and basically register guardrails. And there's also events on this. And this is something that we really wanted to do to be different than the other providers. And like you said, it's how do we provide security? Well, you provide them through messages, right? So there is about 23 events that you can listen to on BoxLang AI 2, as you can see here. You can see when it fires and what information you get, right? But basically on MCP response, MCP request,
MCP tool, MCP server creation, et cetera. And you can be listening to all these things, right? You can see here before AI tool execute, after AI tool execute, and probably there will be more that we're going to create here, right? But you can see even when they execute and when you can tap into those pipelines, right, when you're creating these events, right? So there's all kinds of event categories available to you as well.
Daniel Garcia
Well, I two more questions about this. One, as somebody a little newer to AI, I I use Claude and ChatGPT from the consumer aspect. When you go in and interact with us and build these out, how much usage are you actually using? If you had to like guess on a dollar amount, if I'm going to build a chat AI that does X, are we talking like fractions of pennies here? Are we talking, what's a real world? ⁓
Luis Majano
Well, I'm glad you asked. There's a utility function to calculate your costs. So there are the utility functions. And the utility functions, there's text chunking and token counting available to you. Also, when you do memory, there's also a report that comes back to you and tells you how much you're going to spend if you're sending this to an external source. Right. So there's a lot of little things there and sprinkled everywhere here. And if people want more, we'll do them.
Daniel Garcia
⁓ Of course there is.
Luis Majano
you can basically use those utility functions. So even before you send something, you can do token counting basically and then verify how much it would cost. So we've tried to do not a very aggressive approach to AI here, it's very flexible, but to save you money. So the things where you pay could be when you're generating embeddings on a specific provider.
and when you're getting input and output from the LLMs. And they're all based on tokens. You always are going to see... And every model from an LLM can handle different tokens. It can handle a set of input tokens and a set of output tokens. So this is very important when you're building LLM applications or AI applications is that you have to have a strategy on how to not go crazy if you're using an external provider. If you're using...
Ollama for example, well there is no cost because the cost is basically you maintaining it and you teaching it because obviously you're not going to get everything that all of these LLM providers have but that's on you. There are ways to save money, let's put it this way, but having a strategy is important knowing that there's input, that there's output, that there's different models that cost more, that cost less and I've tried to go in here and actually document all of that
because I wanted to learn it anyways. So I learned it and I put it here. So you'll see that sprinkled pretty much everywhere. There's one called configuration, provider setup and configuration. And this was basically, cause I needed to do this for every single provider. I had to create an account, an IPI key, because I needed to test. So all this is real because I had to do it. I had to build one for open router, for Mistral, for DeepSec, I mean, for all of them. And then how to actually do that. How do you do troubleshooting?
Daniel Garcia
Nice.
You
Luis Majano
How do you work with those multiple providers? How do you select those providers? What are they good at? What are their costs? What are the speeds that I've seen? And this is a subjective case, note that. And the types of contexts that are available. So I've tried to do as much as I could from what I've learned and put that knowledge out there for folks. ⁓ But ⁓ that's important here. And there's also FAQs there as well that I tried to put it on.
Daniel Garcia
Nice.
Luis Majano
That will be it.
Daniel Garcia
Well, second question is everything you've showed us, which is a ton, I feel like there's a fire hose and I'm just like trying to soak it all in. ⁓ How much of this is available in the open source version versus a plus version?
Luis Majano
Sure.
So everything is available in the open source version. And there's a reason why. And there's a reason why. And not only that, ⁓ we live in the age of AI. And obviously, it's not easy. Let's put it this way. There is so much when you're creating AI solutions. So much. So the docs are very comprehensive, a lot. Lots of examples. But here's the deal. I put a lot of examples in play here. ⁓
Daniel Garcia
That's what I thought.
Luis Majano
if it loads. They're all done by category. They all have their requirements, as you can see, so you can set it up. Obviously, you're going to need some provider in order for it to work, but there are a lot. You can see all of these are examples built in so people can try and test BoxLang AI. So you can see there are tons. There's over 100 examples that I've created for BoxLang AI. I've also created a bootcamp.
And this is for those folks that want to get started on the bootcamp, which they don't want to drink from the firehose of documentation, go through the bootcamp first. The bootcamp is meant to get you from zero to hero in one day. I've actually done it in English and in Spanish. So thanks to also BoxLang AI, I actually used it to document it in English and Spanish. So if you look at the English one, there's eight lessons to go to. Each one will take you about probably an hour.
Daniel Garcia
You
Luis Majano
So it's meant for you to be done in a day. ⁓ And it will basically teach you the AI fundamentals, build actually a real application, switch between AI providers and create your first AI agent. Okay. That's the whole goal. So it's about eight lessons. Here's what you're going to learn. That's the curriculum, how you're going to be dealing with this, right. And then how you move forward. Right. So this is my intent is for people to really get knowledgeable in the tooling. It has.
Daniel Garcia
nice.
Luis Majano
dramatically changed how I develop and I become because of this. And I think this is something, knowledge that I wanted to share with folks. And what we wanted to do is basically offer the majority available in the open source version. What's not available in the open source version? There's a few vector memories that are not available. That would be CouchBase Redis, and ElasticSearch, and Mongo coming that are going to be part of the BoxLang class program.
So if you have a BoxLang Plus subscription with us, then you get access to more vector memories. You get actually access to more loaders. You're going to get access to spreadsheet loaders, to more CSV configurations, to more PDF things, right? So you're going to get a more enhanced version of AI if you start using R Plus and using R services. And we're going to be basically building also observability here.
Eric Peterson
you
Luis Majano
So ⁓ basically like the box on AI studio so folks can actually see what their agents are doing especially with the Autonomous agents that I want to introduce so maybe a sneak peek on that is if we go to Doc's and we go to actually to the AI agent section
Luis Majano
Anyways, the AI agents basically are composed of many, parts, right? They have an AI model. So this is a large language model that it's attached to. It can be Ollama, it can be Claude, it can be ⁓ anything. And then it has a tool registry. So that means that an AI agent basically has a set of tools that it can work with. It also has memory and it could have one or more pieces of memory attached to it.
So you can go crazy there. could be normal memory. It can be vector memory. And it also has a set of system instructions. So something that's also available there is that I'll copy all the passwords on the wall. There are no passwords on the wall. There's actually a scripture there behind me. But no, no post-inlets.
Daniel Garcia
He's gonna look. The Post-it notes.
Luis Majano
And something that we introduced also in BoxLang AI, which is very unique, is that an agent can have sub-agents. So that means that an agent can be composed of one or more sub-agents that can do work for it as well. ⁓ So there's a lot of stuff that goes on to building an agent, but it's as simple as a few lines of code. So you can say, hey, I want a new AI agent. Here's the name, here's the description, here's the instructions. This one is using internal memory by default. And then I can start running things.
Here's one with a very specific quad model. So here's a quad model with specific parameters that's for that agent. Here's ⁓ two tools that I'm going to see the AI agent with. ⁓ And then different memory managements that you can do. So you can see that with specific memories, ⁓ with specific parameters, instructions, the whole starts getting more complex and more complex. ⁓
We've also created native return formats as well for agents. So agents are not only, you know, can produce all this stuff, but are very smart because they can give you just a content string. They can give you all the messages. They can give you raw format. They can give you JSON, XML or structured output like we saw before. Right. So all of these AI agents, you don't even have to specify these instructions. They know how to do this natively. Like the other language SDKs, you basically have to choose one exactly what you're
Daniel Garcia
So.
Luis Majano
you're doing at specific runtime. Here you have access to all these return formats by default. So you can see here JSON format, you can very easily do that, XML streaming responses as well. So the agent can actually be streaming responses to CLI, to an output screen, et cetera. And then you can even chain agents right here. So here, for example, you have a researcher, a summarizer and an editor, so three agents. Then you can create a message right here.
with a user and I can send that message to the research agent and then once that result comes I can transform it so we've introduced the capability to transformers I always wanted to use the word transformers in the AI agent so we can transform from one agent to the next agent to the Transformation of the next agent and so forth. So a whole plethora of Pipelines are available to you. I will see another word that I always wanted to say live
Daniel Garcia
Plethora!
Luis Majano
And then you basically run your pipelines. So all these capabilities are now available to you ⁓ very simply for you to start building these complex AI ⁓ capabilities very easily, without knowing all the complexities that go behind the scenes to do this, because it is complex. So all of this is available to you, and we wanted to give you this.
There will be a lot of things that we're going to be building as terms of services and capabilities to help folks ⁓ implement this. But our idea is, look, we're giving the source code, we believe that this is going to have to be out there, but we want to professionally serve you in that capacity to implement all of these capabilities. Here, for example, is subagents. This is where there's a lot of power here. You can basically create two subagents
Daniel Garcia
Sure.
Luis Majano
and give it to the main agent. And this basically becomes like tools, right? If you're sending an agent some type of math capability and it has a math agent inside as a tool, then it will talk to that math agent, right? And this is where you can basically combine LLMs. So you can have Ollama as your basically main tool, but imagine you need a researcher that needs to go out and ask ChatGPT Well, you create a sub-agent called researcher that is a...
Daniel Garcia
⁓
Luis Majano
attached to a specific ChatGPT model and now your own Ollama LLM, which doesn't even care, calls that specific subagent and does work for you. So all these capabilities are here. And the ability to do autonomy is what's coming. And that's actually the only last piece that I have available before I release this, is the autonomy. And the autonomy would be that once you create an agent, you basically can say dot schedule.
and then you get basically a BoxLang scheduler. And now you basically do every day, every hour, every minute, this, constraints, et cetera, and then say start. And then the autonomous agent is going to be sent to the background in the BoxLang scheduler, and it's now going to run. ⁓ So all of these capabilities is something that you're going to have the power to do with BoxLang AI, and obviously only on BoxLang.
Daniel Garcia
So can I have BoxLang AI write my BoxLang AI app using BoxLang AI?
Luis Majano
Yes, you can.
Daniel Garcia
Eric shaking his head.
Luis Majano
And ai.ortusbooks.com is where all this documentation is going to go. So this is our work in progress. We're going to be moving all of our docs, well not moving because they're part of the repo. This is part of the mono repo. So the documentation is going to be basically served from here because then you have capabilities to have connect to our NCP server. And then Daniel, you can have BoxLang AI talk to the BoxLang AI NCP server.
Daniel Garcia
Hahaha
Luis Majano
to build your code with your MCP tools. How about that?
Daniel Garcia
Perfect. I suspect in the coming months, we're going to probably have webinars or something or BoxLang AI, especially ITB. I'd expect there to be some sessions on that. So lots of great stuff coming. I kind of feel Luis that maybe we'd talk about this, but maybe next year we have a little hackathon contest to see who in the community wants to use BoxLang AI to build the coolest little whatever.
Luis Majano
Yeah, for sure. mean, we're definitely going to be doing the February webinar ⁓ as the BoxLang AI Month. And we're also talking about doing a course and certification at Into the Box as well. So that's coming as well. So and then, of course, we also wanted to do, I believe we talked with Cristobal, I think March or March, we're going to do an online class.
Daniel Garcia
Okay.
⁓ wow. Okay.
Luis Majano
So March we wanted to do a AI class online and ⁓ probably one or two days that people are going to have available to start working with BoxLang AI.
Daniel Garcia
That's awesome. Wow, that was a lot.
Eric Peterson
I feel like one of the biggest things you've given besides the library itself is all those different AI terms. I I've heard some of them, but never had like explanations. They're just kind of thrown out as you should get this. If you're using AI, should know windowed memory, vector memory, MCP. like you've basically given with both the bootcamp and the docs.
Luis Majano
I am.
Eric Peterson
a very well put together free version to get up to date on all the latest AI stuff. I think that's amazing. Yeah.
Daniel Garcia
Yeah, not just BoxLang. Yeah.
Luis Majano
Yeah, mean, to be
honest, it's overwhelming. think there's so many new acronyms, so many new approaches, that it was an incredible learning experience, to be honest, to do this. And I needed to do that because I guess I learned from writing and I really wanted to write this. And trust me, a lot of the writing was done with AI too.
So I knew what I wanted, I knew the structure that I wanted, and then I basically used the AI tooling in order to make it happen. So that was really, really important.
Daniel Garcia
think my favorite AI term I heard this year was hallucinate because AI is often hallucinate. I didn't realize what that was, but as soon as I learned, I'm like, yep, that's exactly what's going on. I'll Chat GPT something. And that gives me the wrong info. I'm like, that's not right. you're right. Let me get you the right info. Like, why don't you just do that to begin with.
Eric Peterson
That's always fun.
you
This is some top notch stuff here. Thanks for showing it all to us. Hope all of you guys are excited for that.
Daniel Garcia
man.
I am overwhelmed. That's a lot. And I'm excited too. I'm very excited about what this is doing. And I can't say I understand every little thing you said. I mean, you speak English. I understood it all, but I don't know if I quite grok everything yet, but there's a bootcamp that I can go.
Eric Peterson
You
Luis Majano
Trust me there's still a lot of stuff that that is that I'm still learning a lot especially like all the vector stuff Which is basically a lot of mathematics, you know in order to actually do similarities It's basically just using cosine formulas, which is like, my god I'm going back to college here and learning all these mathematical formulas. So ⁓ Yeah, it's it's really funky stuff, man
Daniel Garcia
Bye.
I'm not,
I'm not doing anything. AI is going to help me with that part of it.
Eric Peterson
Hehehehehe
Luis Majano
Well, in my
case, I had to build it. well, I did get a lot of help from AI, trust me. So I built AI with AI.
Daniel Garcia
Nice, nice, nice, And David.
Eric Peterson
That should be. Well, if you want more help
from that, we do have a promo going on here to the end of the year, getting 15 % discount on any consulting or support plan. So if you need that to get on board with all this AI stuff, you want to get help from the people who made it, like go jump on. That's a great time to buy.
Daniel Garcia
Absolutely. ⁓
Eric Peterson
throw our sponsor
in there, especially because I think we're going to need to save most of this news for another day. We've had plenty.
Daniel Garcia
I think so. just wanna, well,
Luis Majano
haha
Daniel Garcia
Let's wrap up the Ortus stuff really quick. There's a couple of little CF, I'm gonna transition CFML updates. We got two quick things we wanna talk about. First with our friends over at MASA, there is a security update that came out earlier this month. I'll go ahead and post the link out there for you to look at. If you are using MASA, please go read through that and see what it is, some security things. Also they got some security fixes from Mura as well. So.
Guust reached out, Guust is a friend and we said we'd absolutely let people know. And then the other one really quick, Eric, do you want to mention this one? The CF updates.
Eric Peterson
We're talking about the Cold Fusion update posted on December 9th.
Yep. So multiple Adobe ColdFusion updates were released. Uh, the CF 2021 update is the final one for that version. It is end of life. If that surprises you, um, come see how easy it is to switch to BoxLang. Uh, but these are critical security and platform changes. I'm shameless. It's fine. Um, so you'll want to get on these right away. And, um, and additionally, um, these are up on
Daniel Garcia
Who said that?
Luis Majano
I'm not ashamed, I'm not ashamed.
Eric Peterson
the versions on ForgeBox as well.
Daniel Garcia
Yep. Absolutely. And then just moving on because we got to be moving on events. We've got a couple of things we want to mention. The ITB 2026 Call For Speakers is still open. We pushed back the deadline to end of January of 2026, January 31st, submit your topics. This deadline says by midnight. I need to ask Majo is that midnight Chicago time? I just assume so because Chicago is the center of the universe.
But what if, know, Eric, what is it, midnight your time? Is it midnight Luis's time? Who cares? Just get it in by February 1st.
And let me get the Call For Speakers out there as well.
And then just to save the date for CF camp 2026, it's going to be June 18th and 19th, the pre-conference on June 17th in Munich, Germany. And I think Ortus is going to be doing some stuff there. Am I right?
Luis Majano
Yeah, so CF Camp was announced already and we're going to be, again, Platinum sponsors there and we're going to be doing two courses. We're going to be doing one on pure BoxLang and as well as we're going to be doing a new ColdBox The Ocho training with Box and AI. So the idea is for you to introduce yourself into Box, into ColdBox and how to actually build AI agents with ColdBox as well.
Daniel Garcia
The Ocho
So we're ever going to get to the point where it's going to AI do the training sessions for us. And you just kind of sit there with your coffee and making sure that it doesn't like go off the rails or.
Luis Majano
We'll be a lot of code monitors from now on, to be honest. That's where we're headed.
Daniel Garcia
Nice.
Okay. Well, I think we need to start wrapping things up. something else you want to talk about, Luis?
Luis Majano
⁓ no, it's pretty exciting. We'll have lots of plans. mean, Into the Box obviously is our yearly event where we do new releases. So we promised a new major release every Into the Box and we're on schedule for that. So Into the Box will have BoxLang 2.0 coming out. We're going to be working on that actually the month of January on all the new features and all the new things that we're going to be bringing to the table here. And the cool thing is that we reached parity with other CFML engines quite a while now.
So now it's time to innovate. So we're doing quite a lot already to reach there. So our speed has really, really increased. And I think our trajectory has increased in what we're doing. Very excited, especially with all the team members that are helping out with the language and all the ecosystem. So it's just exciting. It's really exciting of everything that we're going to be doing in January. New version of CommandBox coming.
Daniel Garcia
Yay.
Luis Majano
BoxLang admin, desktop runtimes. Lots of stuff, lots of goodies.
Daniel Garcia
Oof.
We are,
we are, we're very different people, Luis. You're like, now we reach parity. It's time to innovate. And I'm thinking now it's time to migrate over to BoxLang.
Luis Majano
It is. We've actually migrated a lot of applications already, which is exciting. CFCasts, Eric Peterson's baby is now running on BoxLang. So if you actually go to cfcast.com, it's actually running on BoxLang. Learn.boxlang.io is running on BoxLang. ForgeBox is about to be running on BoxLang. So we're moving everything out. We only have about probably two or three
Daniel Garcia
Nice.
Luis Majano
⁓ Other servers that are going to be migrating and the art in migration mode right now. So Yeah
Daniel Garcia
And to be fair, you're not going to notice the difference. that's just going to run faster.
Luis Majano
We're going to be deploying them as compiled source. So that's a big, big difference. And we're always running them in Docker containers. So they start up almost instantly. Let's put it this way. So we can definitely see that. The end user is going to see that benefit, because especially if they're running on Docker. Yeah. mean, especially startups.
Daniel Garcia
No, I meant the end user. The end user is going to. Yeah, it's faster. Nice.
Nice, nice, nice. Okay. We want to say a big thank you to all our Patreon on supporters. These are the individuals that support all our initiatives and show the great toolings like CommandBox, ForgeBox, ColdBox, TestBox, and all the other BoxLang Boxes like BoxLang. Apparently BoxLang was the number one word that we said on the podcast in 2025. And there'll be a video posted later illustrating that in detail.
Luis Majano
⁓
I'm pretty sure it does.
Daniel Garcia
As always,
you can support us on Patreon and Eric, what do we get if they want to support us on Patreon?
Eric Peterson
Well, everybody that supports us on Patreon gets our love and affection, first of all. But more than that, they get access to our channel on Slack and on the discourse, the Ortus Community website. And if they subscribe ⁓ at a bronze level and up, they're going to be getting a CFCast and ForgeBox Pro subscription as well.
Daniel Garcia
Absolutely.
Luis Majano
Woohoo!
Daniel Garcia
Nice. Nice, nice, nice. So as always, we appreciate all of you and everybody. I know for Ortus I don't want to speak for Ortus because Luis is here. Luis can speak for us. But I imagine if I would speak for us, he would say happy holidays to everybody for all you do. And we appreciate you and love you all. And well, Luis, why you tell them all that.
I couldn't have said it at all myself. Eric, how about you? Anything you want to say to all our wonderful supporters?
Luis Majano
Ha ha!
Eric Peterson
⁓ Thank you all. Happy holidays in whatever way you celebrate. We're excited to work with you in the new year.
Daniel Garcia
