I am super excited to announce that we will be holding a ColdBox training pre CFObjective 2011 in Minneapolis this May 10th and 11th.  We will be holding a training on two courses: CBOX100 Core ColdBox + Workshop from May 10-11 and CBOX202 WireBox Dependency Injection from May 10-11.  We will be holding this about 4 miles from the CF.Objective Conference hotel!

CBOX100 is our core ColdBox course that covers the entire platform with several workshops and hands on training through 2 intense training days.  CBOX202 is the new kid on the block in our training  series and it is directed towards advanced gurus.  In this course you will learn all about dependency injection, inversion of control principles, object de-coupling, compositions, and object messaging, mocking and testing with WireBox. Our focus is in learning what problems dependency injection solves and how to apply it with WireBox.

We also would like to offer special promotional discounts for students or non-profit organizations.  If you are a student or a non-profit organization, please email us to training@coldbox.org let us know so we can give you your discounts. So if you are ready to take your ColdFusion and ColdBox development to a new level, come to our courses, you will not be disappointed.

"After attending Luis Majano's developer boot camp, I knew I had made the right decision to use his ColdBox framework on my next ColdFusion project. I greatly benefited from the two days of training held by Luis and would recommend his ColdBox training program to anyone seeking a deeper knowledge of OOP ColdFusion/ColdBox development." - Jack Nestor

"The Coldbox training raised my game in developing Coldfusion applications. It gave me a great understanding of the framework itself and vastly improved my original conceptions on OOP programming. Coldbox is a fantastic framework and I highly recommend it and the training." - Richard Cooper

Introducing the BoxLang Spring Boot Starter: Dynamic JVM Templating for Spring

Spring Boot developers know the pain of evaluating view technologies. Thymeleaf is great — until you need more expressiveness. FreeMarker is powerful — until the syntax fights you. What if you could write templates in a dynamic JVM language that gives you the full power of the platform, feels natural, and requires zero setup to integrate?

Meet the BoxLang Spring Boot Starter.

Why Swiss Banks Are Modernizing CFML Platforms Without Rewrites

Why Swiss Banks Are Modernizing CFML Platforms Without Rewrites

The growing need to evolve legacy financial platforms safely

Many Swiss banks and financial institutions still operate important systems built on ColdFusion and CFML platforms.

These systems manage a wide range of functions, including:

  • internal banking workflows
  • reporting systems
  • client portals
  • data integration platforms
  • compliance and risk management tools

In many cases, thes...

Reactive vs Proactive ColdFusion Support: Why Waiting for an Outage Is the Most Expensive Strategy

Reactive vs Proactive ColdFusion Support: Why Waiting for an Outage Is the Most Expensive Strategy

Many ColdFusion environments operate in a reactive mode without realizing it.

Everything seems fine… until something breaks.

A server crashes.

Performance drops suddenly.

An integration stops working.

A security audit reveals missing patches.

At that point the response is urgent:

“Can someone help us fix this now?”

Emergency support is sometimes unavoidable. But when reactive intervention becomes the norm, it usually means something deep...
