CommandBox Docker images were the first CFML docker images and have nearly 2 million pulls, since their inception, to date. It's been a source of pride at Ortus that these images have been the most popular and reliable way to run CFML in containers and we are so very pleased to announce the next evolution, which will be the v4 images which run entirely on the BoxLang CLI and represent a significant overhaul of the image architecture.
These images are now available to test by appending -snapshot to your existing version tags and wil be released as stable, once CommandBox v6 emerges from release candidate status and is published as stable.

You need to change an application that has been running for years.
It might be a ColdFusion customer portal, a Lucee application supporting internal operations, or a CFML system your team is preparing to modernize. People depend on it, but some of its behavior lives in old tickets, scattered documentation, and the memory of whoever has supported it longest.

How about a discount on it for those of use that already ordered (and received) the hard copy? BTW, my book arrived very quickly. I ordered it the morning after it was announced.

The ebook is 39.99, but I still don't know how to offer discounts under the ebook system. Once I do, if they offer discounts, I could honor them.
However, I have no control over it now.

Hi Luis,
Thank you for the book.
I have a few questions:
1. If I purchase the eBook now and a discount code is available later can I claim it?
2. When version 3 is available as an eBook, will people who bought this one get a discount?
3. If I buy this book can I use the version 3 of the framework or it will jut confuse me?

once I get the ability to offer discount codes I will blog about it and you must send me the original invoice and I will honor the discount.
As for discounts for version 3 the same will apply. However as of now I am still waiting to see if it is possible on the ebook versions.
Version 3 is a progression of the platform and still in active development. The core concepts remain the same. The differences can be seen in the compatibility guide. However I say that 85-90% of 2.6 applies to version 3.
