Learn how to define, build, and run AI agents with BxAgents in a hands-on session organized by Malaga-AI and sponsored by Ortus Solutions! 🚀

Building an AI agent means connecting instructions, models, tools, and application logic. A clear project structure makes those pieces easier to organize and develop.

On Thursday, November 26, 2026, from 19:00 to 21:00 — Málaga, Spain local time, join Luis Majano, Founder and CEO of Ortus Solutions, at Innovation Campus – Álamos for Build AI Agents by Convention with BxAgents.

This hands-on, developer-focused session will introduce a practical approach to building agents through conventions and a simple structure of files and folders.

What Luis Will Show

Luis will introduce BxAgents, BoxLang’s convention-based framework for AI agent applications, and demonstrate how to define an agent using BoxLang.

The session will explore how instructions, tools, skills, subagents, gateways, and integrations fit into an agent project. Luis will also explain how to turn that definition into a runnable application built on ColdBox.

Attendees will see how to:

  • Create, build, and run an agent.
  • Connect it to AI models and external tools.
  • Organize its capabilities through files, folders, and conventions.
  • Structure a project that can grow from a prototype into a deployable application.

The goal is to give developers a clear understanding of the workflow and a practical starting point for building their own agents.

Explore the BoxLang AI Ecosystem

BoxLang is an AI-first, open-source productivity platform and modern dynamic language from Ortus Solutions. It combines Java interoperability, modular extensibility, and multiple runtimes for building applications, APIs, agents, and automated workflows.

BoxLang AI provides native capabilities for working with AI models, agents, tools, memory, and integrations. BxAgents builds on this ecosystem with conventions that help developers organize their agent applications.

During the session, you’ll see how these technologies work together to support agent development.
