This is an announcement that we will be holding a ColdBox training galore in March here in Ontario, California.  We will be holding a training on two courses: CBOX101 and CBOX203CBOX101 is our core ColdBox course that covers the entire platform with several workshops and hands on training through 3 intense training days.  CBOX203 is the new kid on the block in our training  series and it is directed towards advanced gurus.  It concentrates itself on modular architecture, scalability, and ColdBox Modules.  2 days of architecture and approaching modularization with a platform like ColdBox and ColdFusion.

We also would like to offer special promotional discounts for students or non-profit organizations.  If you are a student or a non-profit organization, please email us to training@coldbox.org and tell us your affiliation and how many would like to attend.  We will give you our special discount so you can purchase your seat.

So if you are ready to take your ColdFusion and ColdBox development to a new level, come to our courses, you will not be disappointed.

"Coldbox is the best thing since sliced bread! I've been programming for over 25 years now from desktop applications to main frame and Unix; to finally the web in ColdFusion. Coldbox is the best framework for ColdFusion I have ever seen! You can do so much more with this framework. The training was intense and well worth the price of admission. I highly recommend this course. The presenter, materials and exercises really get your brain thinking." - Steve Beauvais - Pasadena Web Design
"The ColdBox training proved to be very informative and valuable. I learned in two days what it would have taken me two weeks to grasp on my own. I was amazed to learn how many additional development tools are provided with ColdBox. Combined with Eclipse, it is not just a framework but a full-featured Application Development Environment"- Mark Knox
"By far one of the best training sessions I have attended. Luis’ upbeat style and subject matter expertise were key to helping us understand how to put it all together. I would strongly urge anyone considering the Coldbox framework to include this training as part of their implementation strategy." - Dirk Mellinger - Equator Financial

Introducing the BoxLang Spring Boot Starter: Dynamic JVM Templating for Spring

Spring Boot developers know the pain of evaluating view technologies. Thymeleaf is great — until you need more expressiveness. FreeMarker is powerful — until the syntax fights you. What if you could write templates in a dynamic JVM language that gives you the full power of the platform, feels natural, and requires zero setup to integrate?

Meet the BoxLang Spring Boot Starter.

Why Swiss Banks Are Modernizing CFML Platforms Without Rewrites

The growing need to evolve legacy financial platforms safely

Many Swiss banks and financial institutions still operate important systems built on ColdFusion and CFML platforms.

These systems manage a wide range of functions, including:

  • internal banking workflows
  • reporting systems
  • client portals
  • data integration platforms
  • compliance and risk management tools

In many cases, thes...

Reactive vs Proactive ColdFusion Support: Why Waiting for an Outage Is the Most Expensive Strategy

Reactive vs Proactive ColdFusion Support: Why Waiting for an Outage Is the Most Expensive Strategy

Many ColdFusion environments operate in a reactive mode without realizing it.

Everything seems fine… until something breaks.

A server crashes.

Performance drops suddenly.

An integration stops working.

A security audit reveals missing patches.

At that point the response is urgent:

“Can someone help us fix this now?”

Emergency support is sometimes unavoidable. But when reactive intervention becomes the norm, it usually means something deep...
