CacheBox 1.1.1 is now available for download.  This is a pure maintenance release and you can see the tickets resolved below.  For those of you who don't know what CacheBox is or does, here it goes: CacheBox is an enterprise caching engine, aggregator and API for ColdFusion applications. It is part of the ColdBox 3.0.0 Platform but it can also function on its own as a standalone framework and use it in any ColdFusion application and in any ColdFusion framework.  This 1.1 release is the last release before our complete ColdBox 3.0.0 Platform is released in the coming months.

The milestone page for this release can be found in our Assembla Code Tracker. Here is a synopsis of the tickets closed:

  • 1094 invalid URLs created on standalone reports when using baseURL that have ? on them when embedding reports
  • 1095 update ANT standalone script to enable css/js refactoring for standalone mode

12 days of BoxLang - Day 3: SocketBox!

As BoxLang continues evolving into a modern, high-performance, JVM-based runtime, real-time communication becomes essential for the applications we all want to build: dashboards, collaboration tools, notifications, live feeds, multiplayer features, and more.

That’s where SocketBox steps in — the WebSocket upgrade listener built to work seamlessly with CommandBox and the BoxLang MiniServer. ⚡

Today, for Day 3, we’re highlighting how SocketBox supercharges BoxLang development by giving you fast, flexible, and framework-agnostic WebSocket capabilities.
