We are proud to share that Ortus Solutions has been officially invited by the Salvadoran government to represent El Salvador at the 10th America Digital AI Tech and Business Congress, taking place June 18–19, 2025, at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.

This international conference brings together over 5000 C-level executives and professionals in IT, innovation, digital transformation, software, cloud, big data, cybersecurity, fintech, Web3, ecommerce, and beyond. It is a space where leaders across the Americas exchange insights, spark collaboration, and accelerate the future of business and technology.

At Ortus Solutions, our mission has always been clear; make modern development tools accessible, powerful, and scalable for teams and enterprises around the world. Being part of America Digital reinforces our vision to support innovation across Latin America through professional open source solutions.

We are excited to showcase our growing suite of tools and services, including:

  • BoxLang – Our new programming language for the JVM, designed to drive productivity, flexibility, and rapid innovation
  • ColdBox – A modular and scalable framework for building robust CFML applications
  • CommandBox – A powerful CLI for developers that streamlines automation, testing, and deployment
  • Ortus Services – Enterprise consulting, support, and development to help businesses modernize their technology stack

A Shared Mission

Our participation is more than a presence, it is a commitment to represent El Salvador’s growing influence in the global tech ecosystem and to inspire others to embrace modern software practices.

This invitation is a recognition of our contributions to open source and a reminder of the importance of building with purpose. Whether through BoxLang, ColdBox, or any of our other tools, our focus remains the same: to empower developers, elevate teams, and enable the future of digital transformation.

🚀 ColdBox CLI 8.11: The Era of AI Skills Comes to Every ColdBox & BoxLang App

ColdBox CLI 8.11 is here, and it's one of the most significant releases we've shipped for AI-assisted development. This release wires the CLI directly into our brand new public skills directory at skills.boxlang.io, brings our AI tooling in line with industry-wide agent conventions, and introduces a wave of quality-of-life improvements that make AI integration feel less like setup and more like infrastructure.

🛰️ Introducing cbMCP — Your ColdBox App, Live to Every AI Agent

Today we're releasing cbMCP, the official ColdBox MCP Server — a BoxLang-only module that turns your running ColdBox application into a fully-compliant Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Plug in any MCP-capable AI client — Claude Desktop, VS Code Copilot, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode — and your AI assistant gets live, read-only introspection across the entire ColdBox platform: routing, handlers, modules, WireBox, CacheBox, LogBox, schedulers, interceptors, and async executors. 🎯
